Frequently Asked Questions

What insurances do you accept?

I'm currently in network with Aetna, Cigna, and Optum. If you don't have insurance through those companies, I can provide you with a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement if your insurance allows. It's a great idea to call them and ask!

You don't accept my insurance, or I don't have insurance. Does this mean you can't see me?

I can still see you! We would need to arrange for private pay, which is $150 per hour, or see if you're eligible for out-of-network reimbursement using a superbill you can submit to your insurance company.

Being nervous about starting therapy, meeting a new therapist, or trying therapy again after a bad experience is the most normal feeling. Let's set up a free  15-minute consultation to see if you're comfortable working with me, or answer any questions you have.

Do you see people in person or online?

I'm currently seeing clients via telehealth only. Worried if it will work for you? Here's a great article from the American Psychological Association explaining the benefits and drawbacks of teletherapy. I use HIPAA compliant software to protect your privacy every step of the way.

What kind of clients do you see?

I work with both adults and teens. I specialize in assisting new clients become more comfortable and confident with the process and purpose of therapy, and clients who have had therapy trauma heal. Common issues clients I've worked with before have experienced include, but aren't limited to: trauma, family issues, anxiety, depression, self-confidence, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship issues.
